Thank the good Lord above that we have now made it to Feb 21^st.  This is the first year ever I can really say I have had the winter blues and being from MI you are pretty much just use to it so for me to say that it must be bad!!  It’s been freezing pretty much in the teens or single digits since Dec 1^st.  I mean every day those temps! The corn field behind my house has had the same look every single day that look would be covered in snow. 

We have had some much snow and ice that I actually had to get on the roof of my house and snow shovel or rake the ice away so it would not damage my house. Not the safest thing to do and differently need a better plan for that next time.  

Hunting is over; winter is never ending it feels like! 60 more days to turkey season!! Please come faster! Winter blues please go away!

Well I almost did not go last night because I have been working out like a gym rat and was sore and being a baby…lol

But last minute, I went so I would not have to make it up this weekend. This would be impossible with the Deer and Turkey expo being held up in Lansing.

I said to myself just go shoot have fun take a break from trying to work on the little things.

That is what I did and maybe just because I was loose and not really trying to do anything but shoot I ended up shooting 10pts over my Average which was much needed going into the 6th of the 12 weeks.

In the spirit of Brandon’s previous post…a few pictures we’ve received this last year. Just the tip of the iceberg.

Those dang huge email giant mega bucks, you know the ones we all get those emails! I just sat down logged into my email and pulled out every picture I could find over the last 2 months or so.

I thought it might be cool to blog and post pics of a few of those bucks that just make your jaw drop. The kind of bucks that make that random average hard hunting Joe famous in his circle of friends forever, the why couldn’t that have been me bucks. So here are a few of them enjoy!
