Last Saturday I attend the South Eastern MI chapter of SCI bow-hunters annually banquet all 10 hours of it after setup and tear down.

I work the show every year for one of my good friend that is an outfitter in Nebraska every year he is kind enough to donate a hunt to SCI.

I look forward to this dinner every year now and I think this was my 4th year at the dinner and it just seemed that is was going to be a bigger and better night than the past.

One hour into the night the first drawing/raffle was to win any gun of your choice, my good buddy Craig came to dinner with me to see what it was all about and low and behold this first ticket was his and he got to pick out a gun! He was very happy walking out with a new Ruger 45-70 and the end of the night.

As dinner came and gone it was time to start talking hunting it was great to spend time with some of the guys I have sheared a camp with in Nebraska. Many guys I have made friendship with at the show and look forward every year to seeing them there.

Many of the guys are all ready thinking of hunting in 2010 because in my poor economic state of MI that is what most are doing now but how great it was to see many people planning trips maybe a little farther in further but still dreaming of taking a giant buck in another state. It was nice to see that even in tough times hunters still come out with great attitudes supporting a great cause.

Thanks

Brandon
