Shawn Harding

Shawn Harding is a Kansas resident and a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Architecture and Design.  He is a senior associate for a firm that focuses on health care facilities and justice work.

After several years of being a serious archer, in 1990, Shawn became a serious bowhunter. Budget and experience kept his hunting focused on Kansas deer and turkey for many years. In recent years, however, he’s expanded his hunting to include trips to Canada for black bear, Wyoming for antelope, Colorado for elk and Texas for hogs.

Shawn’s wife, Thalia, and daughter, Sloane, are his support group and they share in his bowhunting efforts in their own way. “Thalia is my photographer and many of my pictures are shot by her. Sloane is my shooting buddy at the indoor range. She’s not real sure she wants to be an archer but she has fun when we go. I’ve been fortunate to share a lot of my success with them and I’m always excited to get home to show them my trophies.”
