Tink Jackson

Tink Jackson, from Deming, New Mexico, was born and raised in the well-known Gila country of southwestern New Mexico. Tink began shooting at the age of 4 and hunting at the age of 9. Tink has excelled not only in the field, but also in competitive shooting through the years.
Tink’s hunting resume includes the SCI New Mexico state record archery Coues Whitetail Deer (#8 All-Time), the SCI #5 archery non-typical Desert Mule Deer and a New Mexico free ranging archery Gemsbok that is the SCI #2 in the world. During the 2007 hunting season, he went 6 for 6 on big game hunts with all 6 animals qualifying for the SCI record book.
Tink has archery tournament wins in tournaments all over New Mexico. He has a deep passion for shooting archery 3D tournaments and will travel just about anywhere to hit one for a weekend of fun and friendship.
Tink is a well known resource in the southern part of the country being called upon frequently to provide archery and hunting seminars at outdoor expos, pro shops, and sporting goods retail locations and to assist hunters with hunts for elk, deer, turkey, oryx, bighorn sheep, lion, bear, and ibex in New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. Tink also works with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish as an instructor for the Hunter Education Program and the Bowhunter Education Program, as well as assisting local conservation officers in southwest New Mexico with wildlife related issues. He is also certified as an Official Measurer for Safari Club International.
Tink serves on the Pro Staffs for Alpine Archery, Gold Tip Arrows, Magnus Broadheads, TRUBall, Montana Decoys, Horn Hunter Packs, Tarantula Archery Products, Onestringer Arrow Wraps and Burnham Brothers Calls.
Tink works full time as a natural resource manager for the state of New Mexico and as a political science professor at a state university.
