Matt Farnham

Matt Farnham, father of two, husband, brother and son, started his hunting career at the age of nine with the help of his father and older brother, both of which he still considers himself greatly indebted to. Matt harvested his first whitetail with a 45 pound Bear recurve bow in Indiana when he was 9 years old and since then has been hooked. He has harvested several trophy class whitetails, including a 171” gross buck, a 157” buck, and a 142” gross scoring whitetail, along with several turkey harvests with a bow. Matt has hunted several species in many states, but now resides in West Central Illinois as professional guide.
Since 2005, Matt has been a professional whitetail guide with Harpole’s Heartland Lodge, and the Whitetail/Turkey Manager for the lodge since 2006. Their operation is a fully guided outfit in Pike Co, IL, which is known for its great whitetail hunting.
